Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Slimbridge

Today I went to the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge to test out a new lens for my SLR camera, I got it for my birthday this week. I have a membership for Slimbridge WWT so visit there often. My favourite birds are the kingfishers, crested screamers and the nenes. Today I spent a long time in the kingfisher hide, sadly I only caught a glimpse of a blue flash heading down river and didn't catch it on camera. However I still enjoyed experimenting with my new lens and got some shots of moving birds which has been tricky with only my bridge camera.
